A tailored program sponsored by the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation, for health professionals, consumers and carers with an interest in frailty.
Frailty is a complex health syndrome. For quality, person-centred care, health professionals need to be able to have sensitive and enabling conversations with patients and families about uncertainty and preferences for future care.
This workshop is a communication skills ‘taster’ session with the aim to raise awareness of the role of skilled communication in the promotion of effective and appropriate approaches to treatment, aligning what matters most to patients.
